International Workforce Solutions

Working closely with TTM we have recruited high standard of candidates from various international locations each year. Tackling and managing risk, establishing standard processes and procedures, TTM have offered unique insight, solutions and advice to our recruitment challenges. Our nurses sourced through TTM are now a key part of our recruitment strategy for our Nursing and Midwifery workforce. During the pandemic it has been particularly demanding to navigate travel restrictions, government guidelines and developing risks, TTM have supported us every step of the way, flexibly adjusting their dedicated resources, working out of hours where required and working dynamically in partnership we have continued our programme delivery. Where we have increased our recruitment needs in the last two years, TTM have been able to increase and maintain our recruitment pipeline and ensure the Trust has been able to manage our increasing demands for experienced and skilled registered nurses, the ability to deliver increased numbers of arrivals into our hospitals and managed clinical services has been a key for our workforce strategy during the pandemic.

TTM’s collaboration has been instrumental in this success. From Day 1, Peter Maher, Bryden Cody and the wider ‘TTM Tribe’ have patiently supported the HSC Project Team & the wider Trust networks to set up processes in partnership to deliver volume and quality candidates. Recruiting from overseas can be complex and they have worked closely with us to deliver to our requirements and adapt to what we need when our requirements change. We have an open & honest relationship with the team and value their ideas and expertise to help us develop our overseas recruitment and solve problems and issues along the way, of which there have been many! What makes their service exceptional is that they are our partner, rather than a supplier, and we truly work together to achieve our project aims.

The South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland, have been working in partnership with TTM Healthcare for two years, to recruit International Nurses into vacancies in the Trust, into our acute settings across our hospitals. The team at TTM Healthcare, Peter, Bryden and more recently Katie have been excellent in sourcing nurses from around the world to come to Northern Ireland to work. From September 2020 to October 2021 TTM have supplied 280 international nurses and this has reduced our vacancies for adult nurses to the lowest it has ever been since I have been in this role despite the challenges of recruiting during a pandemic. Throughout the time the Trust has worked with TTM we have found them to be very professional and accommodating to our changing needs.
