Nursing Home Manager (PIN not essential) - Older People / Dementia - Widnes
Commutable from Widnes, Warrington, Knowsley, Skelmersdale, Leigh, Wigan & surrounding areas - Salary £50,000 to £55,000 (negotiable on experience)
I am working in partnership with a medium sized care provider who have an exciting opportunity for a strong home manager who is looking for a new challenge to maintain and further improve the standards within this home for older people and Dementia in Widnes.
This medium sized home is in need of a care driven home manager to promote the best quality of care within the staff team to make this a centre of excellence. You will need to be creative and innovative with strong leadership skills and an understanding and passion for Dementia care.
You will be required to:
·Ensure care standards are met at the highest level
·Ability to demonstrate your experience in person centred care and coach this to your team
·Staff recruitment and development
·Train, Mentor & Develop staff
·Marketing & occupancy
·Understand and execute the required CQC compliance standards
·Understanding of Finance and Budgets
You will need:
·Experience at management level within a care home for older people - residential or nursing
·Worked at Management level within a Care Home for Older People with Dementia with over 30 beds
·Health & Safety Knowledge along with safeguarding (national/local policies)
You will have the requirements and needs of the residents as a priority of everything that you do.
