Ward 15 - Male Respiratory Ward
We are a male Respiratory Ward with 29 beds, 5 of which are Acute Non Invasive Ventilation beds.
We are a friendly team who support and encourage each other, respecting each and every person’s individuality. Each member of the team is important and we value their contribution to our development as a whole.
Mladen is the current Senior Charge Nurse on Ward 15 and is very supportive and approachable and always welcome of ideas of how we can continuously improve our practice to provide high standards of care. We work closely with Ward 16 which is also a 29 bed respiratory ward and whose patients are female. This allows us to support each other and celebrate each other’s achievements.
We have a beautiful garden which was achieved through fundraising and is maintained by volunteers. Our patients and relatives benefit from this environment throughout spring, summer and autumn alongside staff too.
We look forward to welcoming those of you who would like to extend their career in respiratory nursing and who will form part of a friendly team, playing a crucial role in developing our ward as we strive to achieve best practice in care.
