TTM Healthcare Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a Critical Care Ward Manager to lead our skilled Critical team in Birmingham.
Role Overview
The Critical Care Ward Manager is responsible for taking the lead for the overall running of the Critical Care unit and will be responsible for providing clinical direction with strong, visible leadership to all nursing staff, in partnership with allied health professionals and medical staff.
You will lead and drive the delivery of excellent clinical standards within critical care, driving a culture of patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and continuous improvement. Working in line with local and National Critical Care guidance, you will have the responsibility ensuring all appropriate measures are taken to maintain, promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of patients, employees, visitors, and the business.
Requirements
·Registered General Nursing qualification at degree level or equivalent with a post-graduate Intensive Care qualification is essential.
·Advanced Life Support Provider Qualification is highly desirable.
·Previous experience of leading and developing a team.
·Possessing or working towards leadership qualifications or Master's degree (desirable).
·A strong understanding of clinical governance, quality, and risk in regard to patient safety.
·Demonstrated strong clinical, safety and professional standards within the critical care environment.
·Experience in Quality Improvement, facilitating and managing change in the workplace.
