We are currently looking for a Registered General Nurse to work within a large acute hospital in Wrexham caring for the North East region of Wales on a number of wards. These wards will include but will not be limited to:
• Stroke Ward
• Isolation Ward
• Respiratory Ward
• Urology Ward
• Surgical Admissions Ward
• Planned Orthopaedics Ward
This is a great opportunity to work in a busy, fast pace environment and make positive changes to patient's lives whilst utilising the skills you have amassed over the years.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Hands-on care to patients by administering medications
• Managing intravenous lines
• Observing and monitoring patients' conditions
• Maintaining records
• Communicating with doctors
• Supervise and assess student nurses and other junior staff in the clinical area
• Must adhere to Code of Professional Practice and Behaviours.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Be a Registered General Nurse with acute experience.
Be flexible to work on Day shifts, Night Shifts, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
Good Clinical background skills.
Have excellent communication skills and work well in a team.
Be caring, compassionate and professional at all times.
