TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting for the World's largest private hospital group, providing award winning acute and complex care based in Wilmslow.

The service diagnoses and treats a range of conditions using some of the most advanced technology in the region, providing state-of-the-art equipment and operating theatres.

The hospital is made up of 13 consultant rooms; a full diagnostic imaging suite; 2 operating theatres and a dedicated women's health unit.

As a Staff Nurse you will work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of nursing care and safety for patients. You will be nursing all pre-assessments for all planned surgical patients and work within the outpatient setting.

You must have the ability to identify any pre-surgery concerns and you will also be assessing patients face to face or over the telephone. Also, able to carry out pre-screening bloods, ECG and MRSA.

You will be working 37.5 hours per week covering internal rotation, long days (Morning or Lates) covering various shifts from 7.30am - 9pm.

Duties & Responsibilities
§ Assess, plan and deliver care to meet patient and family needs
§Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions
§Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
§Contribute to the setting of clinical standards, policy and procedure
§Contribute to research based care and other practice development initiatives
§Promote good communication channels amongst staff enhancing good team work
§Deputise for senior staff in their absence, demonstrating leadership and management

Skills & Experience
§NMC Registration and PREP requirements
§Previous experience in surgical setting
§Post-graduate experience of a broad range of surgical procedures
§Basic life support
