Staff Nurse
Neurological/Rehabilitation

They have an available opportunity for a Staff Nurse to work in the neurological rehabilitation department of the hospital with excellent experience, skills and knowledge. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The overall responsibility within this role is to care for patients with complex neurological conditions such as acquired or traumatic brain injury.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working alongside the clinical team you will act as a support to ensure effective day to day delivery of care and rehabilitation to patients. Your day to day will involve managing your caseload of patients focusing on meeting the needs of the patient, carry out risk assessments on patients, formulating and updating their care plans, providing clear and concise records and contributing to written reports. You will plan and prioritise interventions to meet the changing needs of the patients and assist and encourage patients to achieve their daily and long-term goals.
EDUCATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nursing Degree
NMC Registration or HCPC Registration
REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need:
• Be an NMC registered nurse with experience of working in an acute setting, neurological/rehabilitation experience would be beneficial but not essential
• Have a passion for high quality patient safety and care
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with challenging customers and situations
• Have the willingness to undergo further training and development to broaden your skill set
• Be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Adapt easily to new situations and be able to build strong working relationships within the team
