TTM Healthcare are delighted to announce the addition of a new Manchester office to our network of UK offices, which was officially opened by Minister Heather Humphreys T.D. on the 20th of April 2018.
This new office forms part of our three year multi-million-euro capital investment to deliver on our ambition to become the largest provider of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to hospitals and healthcare facilities in the UK. The Manchester office will employ a team of fifteen and build on our existing London presence, which currently manages the placement of one in five nurses recruited to the NHS from overseas. We are already on target to exceed €100 million in revenues for the first time in 2018 and the new Manchester office is part of our broader expansion plans to double our revenues and team within five years. These plans extend beyond our traditional healthcare staffing business to our Resilience Care division, which operates care facilities that provides outreach, respite and residential services for children and adults with disabilities, along with home-based services for those with complex medical needs.
TTM Healthcare is an Enterprise Ireland supported company, with the official opening forming part of a trade mission to Manchester, aiming to reaffirm Ireland’s important trading relationship with the UK.
Speaking at the opening, Minister for Business, Enterprise, and Innovation, Heather Humphreys T.D. said: “It is always with a great sense of pride that I hear of Irish businesses expanding internationally, so I am particularly pleased to see at first hand the progress that TTM Healthcare is making. Historically, Ireland was known for the quality of healthcare professionals we trained in Ireland but who developed great careers in the UK. With TTM Healthcare, we’re seeing the Irish continuing with a spirit of excellence in healthcare, this time by providing multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to a range of healthcare providers across the UK.”
Paula McDonnell, Managing Director of TTM Healthcare said: “Opening a new Manchester office marks the latest expansion of our international business adding to our existing presence in London and other markets such as Northern Ireland and the Middle East. By having a presence in Manchester it will support the delivery of ambitious plans to be a best-in-class provider of staffing, complex care and disability solutions to organisations and service users right across Europe.”
Pat Breen T.D., Minister for Trade, Enterprise and Business said: “TTM Healthcare is a very valued member of the enterprise community in County Clare and it is wonderful to see them developing their international presence. They have been enormously successful to date and I am confident they will achieve the very ambitious targets they have set for themselves. I wish them well for their operations in Manchester.”
Marina Donohoe, Enterprise Ireland’s Director of the UK and Northern Europe, said: “There are significant business and partnership opportunities for Irish companies in the UK and particularly so within the Northern Powerhouse region, including Manchester; a dynamic region which is now growing faster than London. TTM Healthcare has achieved outstanding growth in the UK market, and the opening of its Manchester office illustrates that the UK also presents Irish companies with an opportunity to achieve scale. By achieving scale and strong reference customers in the UK, this provides companies with the experience and resource to diversify into other markets.”
