Recently given one of only five ‘Royal Borough’ titles in London, Greenwich is a borough familiar to all – after all, who doesn’t know about Greenwich Mean Time!
Home to the Cutty Sark, The National Maritime Museum and more restaurants and bars that you can shake a fist at, it’s no wonder that Greenwich is often named one of the best places to live in South London.
Greenwich gives you the best of both worlds – open, public spaces, delectable restaurants and maritime history on your doorstep – and yet just a 40-minute journey from one of the most vibrant, exciting and historical cities in the world!
Lewisham, Greenwich’s neighbour, also has plenty to offer – Forest Hill’s Horniman Museum, known for not only its 16-acre Victorian garden but also its ‘up close and personal’ approach, sees thousands flock to it every year.
Lewisham’s cocktail bars, coffee shops and of course its 32-acre jewel in the crown, Mountsfield Park, means there is something for everybody!
