Our client is one of the UK's leading private hospital groups with locations throughout the UK. They currently offer treatment to patients undergoing medical and surgical interventions. They operate within state of the art facilities equipped with the latest technology. Their hospitals are able to offer the most complex surgeries to patients with exceptional aftercare both inpatient and outpatient.
We are currently looking to recruit some Anaesthetic Nurses or ODP's to work on surgical wards of the hospital located in Surrey.
Reporting into the Theatre manager as an Anaesthetic Practitioner you will be responsible for planning and delivering appropriate care to patients on the ward. Part of your day to day as an Anaesthetic Practitioner will involve preparing the Anaesthetic room according to the individual needs of the patient and Anaesthetist, ensuring all equipment is checked prior to use and any faults reported to the Theatre Co-ordinator immediately and preparing patients and provide assistance for clinical/operative procedures. You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining patient records and responding to any queries or complaints. You will also be involved in the induction of new staff & any other ad hoc duties required by senior members of staff.
To be considered for this role as an Anaesthetic Practitioner you would have you will have a relevant anaesthetic nurse qualification or operating department practitioner qualification. Ideally you will have at least 1 years experience working in anaesthetic's across multiple specialties. Part of this role involves having an innate attention to detail with a strong ability to work well under pressure. You will adapt easily to situations and be a good communicator within a team. Computer competency would also be a vital part of the role.
