Senior Scrub Nurse

Located in a beautiful, leafy district of London they work to provide the best in private healthcare & NHS services and facilities. They have an available opportunity for a Senior Scrub Nurse to join the theatre team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Senior Scrub Practitioner you will deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care. You will carry out scrub duties according to policies and procedures, contributing to quality improvement, and promoting best evidence based practice at all times.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
• 3+years' experience working in Theatre as a Scrub Nurse or ODP
• Be competent across a range of specialities with a varied patient mix but exposure to orthopaedics, colorectal and hepatobiliary would be desirable
• Have a strong ability to be a mentor to junior members of staff and the ability to delegate when required.
• Have an innate attention to detail and a strong ability to work well under pressure.
