TTM Healthcare have partnered with a leading Mental Health provider who have opening a new service based in Nottingham to recruit a Senior Registered Mental Health nurse to join their expanding team.

This is a brand-new service that has now launched and we are pleased to announce that we have now opened a new Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for females over 18 years of age. In addition, there will be additional mixed-gender acute service availability.

As a Senior Registered Nurse your role will include:
§ Supervises a defined group of team members and contributes to their overall CPD, mandatory training and appraisal process recognising the skills required across the team.
§ You will also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
§ Monitor and review Nursing Care plans
§ Evaluate and respond to changes in patients' condition and needs
§ Provide a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
§ Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress

Ideally, you would need the following experience:
§ Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN) with a Valid NMC PIN
§ If you are looking newly qualified looking for preceptorship - the relevant training and support would be provided
§ To be a team player
§ To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
§ Good listening and rapport building ability
§ To be able to organize and prioritise your time
