THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Scrub Nurse you will be responsible for assisting the Surgeon with patient care throughout their surgical procedure. You will prepare equipment and instruments, making sure they are all accounted for at the end of surgery, ensuring the ongoing sterility of the operating theatre and that the national standard is met in accordance to the relevant Code of Conduct.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
• Be registered with the NMC or HCPC
• Have Scrub experience
• Obs/Gynae and/or Peads experience desirable
• Have excellent communication skills and work well in a team
