TTM Healthcare have partnered with a leading Mental Health provider who have opening a new service based in York to recruit a Registered Nurse to join their expanding team.

The service is a highly specialist hospital where patients requiring a medium secure care setting can maximise value from therapeutic interventions. The services have produced excellent recovery results for patients and they are able to progress to low secure or locked rehabilitation if possible.

The facility is split across seven wards as follows:

16 bedded female ward - Mental Health and Personality Disorder
16 bedded male ward - Personality Disorder
8 bedded elderly male ward - for those with a settled in presentation in need of rehabilitation for mental illness and/or personality disorders
Two 24 bedded male wards for mental health focus

As a Registered Nurse your role will include:
Supervises a defined group of team members, mandatory training and appraisal process recognising the skills required across the team.
You will also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
Monitor and review Nursing Care plans
Evaluate and respond to changes in patients' condition and needs
Provide a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress

Ideally, you would need the following experience:
Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a Valid NMC PIN
To be a team player
To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
Good listening and rapport building ability
To be able to organize and prioritise your time
