Work as a Registered Nurse for a brand new purpose built 18 bedded Complex Care service due to open spring next year based in Hull, East riding of Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse or Newly Qualifed Nurse who's looking to take a step up and play a key role in commissioning of a new service alongside the Home Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager.

The service is going to be a nurse-led residential home for adults with complex needs with two nine-bed units. There will be one Nurse per unit at any given time meaning there will be Two Nurses on duty at all times. You will care for people needing care for complex conditions: Neuro-disabilities, Brain injury and stroke rehabilitation, Mental health.

As a Registered Nurse, you will will play a key part in the commissioning and daily running of the home, working closely with the Home Manager & Clinical Nurse Manager, ensuring that the home runs effectively and efficiently and that the team is providing the highest quality of care.

We will be looking at holding interviews throughout December with a view for the succesful candidate to start early part of next year to help support the Home Manager who is already in place with interviews and getting everything ready for the big open in spring time next year!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working on a 9 bedded unit and overseeing staff and supporting your Unit Manager
  • You will carry out clinical nursing procedures and providing daily medication to residents.
  • You will supervise the care team to ensure that service users receive the best possible care in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Creating and building care plans and activity plans to support each individual in their recovery period

Key criteria for the role:

  • Registered Nurse - RGN, RMN or RNLD with an active NMC pin
  • An interest in caring for adults with a wide range of complex health conditions
  • A willingness to learn - you will receive more clinical training here than the NHS and most other private providers so this role would suit any ambitious nurse looking to broaden their clinical skill set.

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse, either RGN or RMN Nurse registrations will be accepted and although experience in the field of complex nursing care is preferred, it is certainly not essential as exceptional training is provided through this companies award winning learning academy.
