Nursing Home Manager - Older People / Dementia - West Yorkshire
Commutable from Bradford, Keighley, Shipley, Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds, Wakefield & surrounding areas - Salary £60,000
Ideal opportunity for a Nurse Qualified Deputy / Clinical Lead who is looking to be developed/mentored into an outstanding manager - homes in the group all have outstanding CQC reports!
I am working in partnership with a small luxurious private care provider who has a portfolio of outstanding CQC rated homes and is seeking a Nursing Home Manager for a recently built luxurious nursing home for Older People / Dementia.
We are looking for a strong Clinical Nurse Manager who is ready to be developed/mentored into a Nurse Manager. You will have the support of a Nurse Qualified Deputy Manager who is fully supernumerary along with a Director who will assist and develop you into a truly outstanding Manager! You will be hands on and not afraid to roll your sleeves up in order to support the nursing team if or when required along with your Deputy.
You will promote the best quality of care within the staff team to make this Nursing Home for Older People / Dementia a centre of excellence.
You will be required to:
·Ensure care standards are met at the highest level
·Willingness to learn and develop
·Ability to demonstrate your experience in person centred care and coach this to your team by being a hands on nurs manager
·Staff recruitment and development
·Marketing & occupancy
·Understand and execute the required CQC compliance standards
·Understanding of Finance and Budgets
You will need:
·A valid PIN with RGN qualification
·Worked at Deputy / Clinical or Management level within a Care Home for Older People with Dementia
·Worked within an overall good or outstanding Care home or a home that has shown improvements since in post
You will have the requirements and needs of the residents as a priority of everything that you do.
