Their services include: Transnasal & Oral Gastroscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Bowel Scoping, and Community Gastroenterology Clinics.

What you are responsible for:
- Providing a patient focused endoscopy service performing endoscopic procedures
- Ensuring the highest level of evidence-based care is delivered adhering to BSG and JAG guidelines
- Functioning as a non-medical endoscopist undertaking diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and initiating ongoing treatment as appropriate
- Working autonomously
- Carrying out a minimum of 6 endoscopy lists per week, working flexibly to assist in meeting targets
- Undertaking clinical triage of endoscopy referrals
- Performing cannulation and venepuncture and to administer intravenous sedation drugs as appropriate
- Being aware of the work within the British Society of Gastroenterology, Joint Advisory Group (JAG) and Royal College of Anaesthetist's Guidelines and adhere to them in clinical practice
- Working within professional and organisational standards, being personally responsible for prescribing decisions.
