Residential Care Home Manager - Older People / Dementia - West Yorkshire
Commutable from Leeds, Barnsley, Wakefield, Castleford, Dewsbury, Pontefract & surrounding areas - Salary Negotiable on experience £55,000 to £60,000
I am working in partnership with a growing care home provider who has an exciting opportunity for a Residential Care Home Manager to manage this medium sized service for older people / dementia in West Yorkshire.
Due to the growth plans within the company this is a great opportunity for someone who can prove themselves at management level and develop with the company into regional level as the company grows. It would also suit someone who enjoys longevity in positons at home manager level which would be rewarded by bonus on achieving good CQC inspections.
You will be a dynamic, care driven Home Manager who leads by example in order to promote the best quality of care within the staff team to make this a centre of excellence.
You will be required to:
·Ensure care standards are met at the highest level
·Ability to demonstrate your experience in person centred care and coach this to your team
·Staff recruitment and development
·Understand and execute the required CQC compliance standards
·Understanding of Finance and Budgets
·Marketing & Occupancy - building relationships in the community, working within the private market
You will need:
·ILM / RMA preferred but not essential
·Worked at Management level within a Care Home for Older People with Dementia for 3 years
·Health & Safety Knowledge along with safeguarding (national/local policies)
You will have the requirements and needs of the residents as a priority of everything that you do.
