Deputy Manager-Dialysis-Birmingham

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Deputy Managers responsibility is to support the clinic manager in the day to day running of the unit and to act in charge in absence of the manager.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as a Deputy Clinic Manager you will have solid post registration experience which includes significant exposure to nephrology - preferably haemodialysis at Sister/Charge Nurse level. With outstanding administrative, organisational and clinical skills, you will champion best practice in patient management and ensure that Clinic staff are recruited, supported and appraised appropriately. Your role will involve participating in budget planning, monitoring supplies and maintaining Quality Management Systems, you will play an important role in ensuring the clinic is compliant with standards and performing effectively.
EDUCATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nursing Degree
NMC Registration
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
• Have at least 2-year experience working in a renal setting with experience in dialysis
• Have a post graduate qualification in renal nursing
• Experience of managing and leading a team of nurses
• Have a positive and dynamic approach to providing safe and effective care to patients
• Adapt easily to situations and be a good communicator within a team.
• Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Competency across a range of healthcare-based computer programmes
