Are you an Experienced Occupational Therapist who is knowledgeable in a range of acute Inpatient Services including Oncology, Orthopaedics, Neurosciences, General Surgery and Intensive Care?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team. This role will see you assist the Lead Occupational Therapist in daily planning. You will coordinate in delivering and the evaluation of the Occupational Therapy. You will manage own caseload efficiently, including methods of prioritisation in order to achieve timely and safe discharges of patients from hospital, to help prevent admissions/readmissions and enable patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

They have several units spanned across two prestigious areas of London focused on providing world-class treatment to their patients. They have an expansive team of over 300 consultants offering care in various specialities including: Diagnostic & Radiology services, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Urology, Cosmetic, Dialysis & Endoscopy.
The Role:
Assist the Lead Occupational Therapist in daily planning, coordinating delivering and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy service To deputise for team lead on clinical and managerial issues as requested.
Requirements:
•DCR or BSc in Occupational Therapy
•HCPC/COT registered
•Orthopaedics and General Surgical experience essential Minimum of 2 years' of post qualification Experience in leading and managing day to day departmental activities To be flexible and respond to the needs of the department To be articulate, enthusiastic and flexible.
•To work as part of the multidisciplinary team
