Agency Staff Nurses Required
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Band 5 Registered Staff Nurse
THE BACKGROUND:
At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with a leading number of London NHS Trusts, who are keen to recruit Registered Nurses available to cover Medical and Surgical Wards. This role is specifically for nurses who wish to cover 2 or 3 shifts per week in a busy acute setting. Is this you? Applicants ideally should be available for an immediate start, TTM are prepared to cover the cost of all your training and fit to work documents, all we ask is that you provide your expertise, knowledge and experience to assist various Trusts where there are significant shortages. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Assess patients' condition during every visit and chart your observations
·Perform evaluation tasks, including vital signs and medication review
·Administer medication as prescribed by the patient's Physician
·Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing
·Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
·Coordinate with Physicians and anyone else involved in the patient's care plan
·Provide palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable
·Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life
·Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests
EDUCATION:
Nursing certificate and registration with the NMC with a valid UK PIN number
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for this role, you will need to:
·Be a registered staff nurse with ideally 1 or more years' experience
·Ability to cover shift patterns of either earlies or lates
·Registered with the NMC
·Ideally have worked within hospital environment
·Have very good communication skills and work well in a team
