THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
§  Assist with checking in patients, doing triage work for doctors and generating initial insurance paperwork 

§  Responsible for maintaining care standards in accident and emergency

§  Work closely with doctors to keep patients and their family members updated on test results or treatment recommendations 

§  Maintain contact with laboratory personnel to report any initial lab findings back to the A&E doctors 

§  Make arrangements for patients that are deemed to need care requiring them to be admitted to the hospital for one night or longer 

§  Distribute medication and treatment to patients in emergency departments 

§  Keep detailed records of patient vital signs and recommend treatment options to attending physicians 

§  Evaluate patient health during emergency room stays and watch for signs of improvement 

§  Consult other departments upon patient admission into hospital


THE REQUIREMENTS:
§  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 

§  Registration with NMC

§  1 years’ experience in an emergency medical facility

§  Strong ability to work well on a team

§  Exceptional communication skills
 


To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
§  Be a registered staff nurse with 1 or more years’ experience

§  Be registered with the NMC

§  Have a background in Critical Care

§  have excellent communication skills and work well in a team
