There’s no doubt about it, helping individual candidates reach their potential is a team effort: making sure that you’re backed by a recruitment force that truly works together. And no one understands teamwork more than Mark Sweeney – Head of our Life Sciences division.
A graduate of the University of Hull, Mark has over 21 years of experience in the recruitment industry, starting out as a permanent consultant and moving up to team leader, divisional manager and regional manager. Today, Mark has full P&L responsibility across three of TTM Healthcare’s core Divisions - Life Sciences (both Permanent and Contract Sales Teams) operating across Clinical and non-Clinical markets, as well as the company’s UK Temporary Healthcare Teams. He recruits across all teams at all levels of experience.
Mark has spent his recruitment in the IT industry, and one of his key successes has been setting up new business niche markets for a world-leading workforce solutions company. While there, he offered temporary staffing and permanent placing across specific, highly-niched market sectors in the UK, DACH, Nordics and BENELUX – creating and implementing client and candidate strategies. His work was database led – driving his teams to maximise the potential of the company’s database and achieving consistent exceptional year-on-year growth with results that were the best growth figures amongst all the group’s companies. He puts much of this success down to the power of teamwork…
