Customer-Focused. Trustworthy. Timely. Reputable. Results-Driven.
“For me, TTM is an example of a company that truly lives and breathes its principles and values. We’re proud of our brand name, and the fact that we are known for being so customer- and client-focused. And I’m very proud to be a part of that.”
Louise Dwyer is Team Lead of TTMs Nursing Division – overseeing her team of 12 consultants who source and place permanent nursing staff for the company’s public, private and voluntary clients. Her team works with Nurses, Allied Head Professionals and Social Care workers, placing them in positions throughout Ireland, while Louise also manages the Permanent Nursing Division of TTM’s UK operation.
In her role, Louise is responsible for the day-to-day running of her team – overseeing care of clients, driving new business, ensuring performance targets are met and managing technical factors such as recruitment rates.
Louise grew up in County Clare and pursued Business Studies and Marketing at Munster Technological University. She then completed a CIPD Diploma in Human Resource Management through the National College of Ireland. She started her career in banking and finance before finding her home in recruitment – working for major companies in Dublin and Perth, Australia.
Family brought Louise back home to Clare and the appeal of joining a young, going-places Irish company and being part of its organic growth in the Mid-West, drew her to TTM in 2016. She joined the company as principal consultant on the Nursing team before progressing onto a Team Lead role. She believes her years of experience have helped develop her 360-degree recruitment skill set, strong business development skills and client relationship management.
Louise believes TTM owes its market leadership to its unrivalled expertise in its field, its widespread offering and the strong relationships the company has built.
“TTM candidates and clients experience the TTM difference in big and little ways. It can be life-changing – as was the case when a candidate Nurse Specialist came to us looking for work in Urology in the Mid-West as her partner had been relocated.. Opportunities like this can be scarce in this part of the country – but we reached out to our clients and sought out new contacts. Within a month, we had secured her a position, and she could join her partner. But the little things make a difference too – like the guidance and assistance we give candidates in preparing their CVs.”
Louise has mum to “two smallies” and vouches for TTM as a progressive company that truly walks the talk when it comes to supporting women in business and working mums. Louise enjoys cooking, reading autobiographies and exercise and she is also involved in her local GAA club.
