You will need to set up a new account with a UK bank when you arrive. Most employers transfer salaries into employees’ bank accounts at the end of each month. This means your new employer will ask you for a UK bank account number in order to pay you.

Opening Hours

Banks in the UK usually open Monday-Friday, 9.30am-4.30pm. In large cities, some banks may open on Saturday mornings from 9.30am-1pm. All banks are closed on Sundays.
